Christopher J. Blanchard
Mr. Blanchard is a principal with the firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. Mr. Blanchard assists insurance carriers with navigating the laws and regulations of California. His practice includes providing coverage opinions to insurers on property and casualty coverage issues under personal and commercial lines policies, assisting insurers with responding to time limit demands and subpoenas for claim information. Mr. Blanchard also represents insurers in all aspects of insurance-related litigation including declaratory relief coverage actions, disputes between carriers, arbitration, and defense of bad faith actions.
Prior to joining Knapp, Petersen & Clarke in 2022, Mr. Blanchard was a director of a well-known law firm specializing in insurance coverage counseling and litigation.
Mr. Blanchard was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2011 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California. He earned an undergraduate degree from California State University in San Bernardino, and his juris doctor from the University of La Verne.
