Diron M. Ohanian
Mr. Ohanian, a Director of the firm and Executive Committee member, graduated cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles, in 1988, with a bachelor of arts in economics-business. Thereafter, Mr. Ohanian earned a juris doctor degree from University of Southern California in 1991, where he served as the topic editor for the Hale Moot Court Honors Program. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1991.
Mr. Ohanian has a broad-based practice which includes the representation of business entities, professional athletes, and other entertainers. Mr. Ohanian’s experience with business entities involves representing clients in a variety of corporate and real estate matters, including the organization, formation and transfer of business entities, such as corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, asset and real estate acquisitions and sales, internal governance, employment issues and litigation.
In addition to negotiating significant professional sports contracts, Mr. Ohanian has represented clients in salary arbitration matters and contract disputes. He has also negotiated endorsement contracts with several major athletic apparel companies.
Mr. Ohanian’s estate planning practice includes, among other things, the preparation of wills, various types of trusts and all ancillary documents. His experience also includes the formation of family limited liability companies.
